At India Tours, we understand that international travel requires careful planning and commitment. Our aim is to provide clear booking procedures, transparent payment schedules, and fair cancellation terms so that you can reserve your India holiday with complete peace of mind.

In exceptional situations such as government travel advisories, border closures, public health emergencies, armed conflicts, or other unforeseen events that directly prevent travel, India Tours will evaluate each booking individually and may offer travel date changes, travel credits, or applicable refunds based on supplier policies and services already secured on behalf of the traveler.

Reservation & Deposit Requirements

A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from India Tours.

Advance payments are necessary because many travel arrangements within India must be secured well before arrival, including:

  • Advance Hotel Accommodation Booking
  • Domestic Flights Booking
  • Domestic Train Reservations
  • Wildlife Safari Permits & Tickets
  • Monument and Attraction Entrance Bookings
  • Sighseeing & Transfers - Transportation Services

The amount required at the time of booking depends on the itinerary, travel season, accommodation category, and services included in your holiday package.

Certain components such as luxury trains, palace hotels, wildlife lodges, beach resorts, festival departures, Christmas and New Year travel, and domestic air tickets may require higher deposits or full advance payment.

Payment Options

Payments may be made through:

  • International Bank Transfer (SWIFT)
  • Wire Transfer
  • Online Payment Gateway - Through - WISE
  • UPI or bank transfer (where applicable)

Official payment instructions will be provided only through India Tours invoices and official communication channels.

Fraud Prevention Notice

For your security, payments should only be made to bank accounts / payment methods officially listed on invoices issued by India Tours.

Before transferring funds, we strongly recommend confirming payment details directly with our reservations team.

India Tours accepts no responsibility for payments made to unauthorized bank accounts, third-party wallets, or individuals claiming to represent the company without written authorization.

Tour Booking - Standard Payment Schedule

  • (a) To confirm your reservation, an advance payment of 50% of the total tour package cost, along with full payment for all applicable air tickets, is required at the time of booking.
  • (b) The outstanding balance of the tour package must be settled in full at least 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival or tour commencement date.

Failure to adhere to payment deadlines may result in automatic cancellation of services already reserved.

Travel Documentation

Upon receipt of the required deposit, a booking confirmation will normally be issued within one business day.

Final hotel vouchers, transportation details, flight information, and travel documents will be released after the required payments have been completed.

Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email or official messaging channels.

The effective date of cancellation shall be the date on which the written request is received by India Tours.

Cancellation Charges

The following cancellation charges apply unless otherwise specified in writing:

  • (a) For cancellations made 45 days or more before the tour commencement date, 50% of the total tour price and the full airfare cost shall be retained as cancellation charges.
  • (b) For cancellations made between 30 and 45 days before the tour commencement date, 75% of the total tour price and the full airfare cost shall be retained as cancellation charges.
  • (c) For cancellations made within 30 days of the tour commencement date, 100% of the tour price and the full airfare cost shall be retained as cancellation charges.

Changes After Confirmation

Requests to modify a confirmed itinerary will be handled subject to availability.

An administrative amendment charge may apply, together with any increase in costs arising from revised hotels, flights, transportation, permits, or other travel services.

Pricing Policy

Tour prices confirmed in writing are generally protected against subsequent increases except where government taxes, entrance fees, fuel surcharges, or supplier-imposed charges are revised after confirmation.

Gratuities are not included unless specifically mentioned in the tour inclusions.

Accommodation Standards

Hotels featured in itineraries are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Where a listed property is unavailable, India Tours reserves the right to substitute an alternative hotel of comparable category, location, and standard.

Responsibility & Force Majeure

India Tours shall not be held responsible for delays, route changes, cancellations, additional expenses, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods and landslides
  • War Restriction
  • Political unrest
  • Border restrictions
  • Airline schedule changes
  • Road closures
  • Public health emergencies / Pandemic
  • Government regulations
  • Industrial disputes

Any resulting costs incurred during such events shall be the responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise agreed.

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip interruption, baggage loss, personal accident, and cancellation is strongly recommended for all international visitors travelling to India.

Passport, Visa & Entry Requirements

Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying valid passports, visas, permits, vaccinations, and any other documentation required for entry into India and other destinations included in their itinerary.

India Tours cannot be held liable for denied boarding, refused entry, or travel disruptions arising from incomplete or invalid documentation.

Environmental Commitment

We encourage responsible tourism and request all travelers to respect local communities, wildlife, cultural heritage sites, and natural environments throughout their journey in India.
